Solutions (trombone octet)

Solutions is a challenging octet scored for 6 tenor trombones and 2 bass trombones (also works as trombone choir piece with more performers.) A mysterious prelude, powerful marchlike sections, and a "bagpipe" chorale evoke the magic potion referenced in the title.

Solutions was premiered by the University of North Texas Trombone Consortium in 2022 and appeared on the Professors Choir faculty showcase at Southeast Trombone Symposium that summer. Video: https://youtu.be/orEzrb1pW2U
