She Will Hang The Night With Stars... (trio: trombone, tuba, piano)
Taken from the lines "She will hang the night with stars so that I may walk abroad in the darkness without stumbling" written by Oscar Wilde, this hymnlike elegy honors his creativity and connection to beauty. The piece was originally written for string orchestra in 1999, but composer Sonya Leonore Stahl created this version for tenor trombone and F tuba with piano accompaniment in 2022 for Justin Waller. Also available is a 2018 band transcription by Nikk Pilato: https://nikkpilato.net/she-will-hang-the-night-with-stars.html
